This was one spectacular and beautiful wedding!  Turner and Rachel’s story is a great one- fate really did bring them together.  They are so sweet together, and they really know how to put on a wedding.  This Charlotte wedding DJ had a great time helping to plan their celebration. It was held in Uptown Charlotte NC at Founders Hall   I’ll always remember Turner’s excitement and big smile just before he walked out to take his position at the ceremony to wait for his beautiful bride.  He was so ready to marry Rachel! 

The reception space was gorgeous and impressive that night, but the little touches really made the event. In the business of weddings, working with pros who are also friends is a once-in-a-while bonus.  That night I had a double bonus- planner extraordinaire Samie Roberts from Something Perfect directed all the activities, and Reverend Jim Lytle performed the ultra-custom ceremony.   

A little sample of their story

Rachel and Turner met the “new” old-fashioned way: online!  They went on their first date to Rooster’s in SouthPark and they never looked back! Rachel recalls, “We spent all night chatting about family, school, relationships, and life. It was one of those great first dates where you end up being one of the last people at the place.”

Every time they went to Rooster’s thereafter, Rachel would always beg Turner to pretend like it was their first date.  On one such occasion, he really played along.  They asked each other awkward first date questions before dinner.  Then, they enjoyed a night out at their favorite spot before heading back to Turner’s place.  While Rachel was at the counter mixing drinks, she turned around to find Turner on one knee and he said, “I know this is only our first date, but will you marry me?” Rachel said, ‘Yes!”   Read all about this wedding featured on Bustld!

Scott and Jenny’s wedding was everything a wedding celebration should be.  It was beautiful.  It was emotional.  It was fun. It was a real celebration among friends and family! Read about it all – it is a featured wedding on Bustld!

Most weekends, I get to work with couples that allow me to do my best work.  That includes creating a true experience for their guests!  Everyone at this wedding was engaged in the story of the day, and they really celebrated the couple!  Plus, I love to travel while I work with couples, and Nicole and Caleb allowed me to be an Asheville Wedding DJ for a day! 

As the Entertainment Designer, I worked with Caleb and Nicole to create some magic at the Country Club of Asheville.  Story always plays a huge role in a wedding, and besides the love that Caleb and Nicole had for each other that day- my favorite part of this wedding was the expression of love that Gary showed for his daughter.  Just awesome!

“The most memorable moment from the reception was the telling of our love story by our DJ. Caleb and I got to relive the last 6 years when it all started with the people we hold most dear to our hearts. Everyone in the room had some influence on us during that time, and it was just an indescribable feeling to be there with them hearing the words of our story. We laughed, we cried, but most importantly we got to hear each other answer questions like; How did he ask? When did you know he/she was the one? What do you love about him/her? All of the answers were completely unknown to both of us and hearing both sides of the story was so awesome. We never talk about intimate details like this so it was definitely unique! I will never forget this moment. Our DJ was the best!”
